Jesolo Lido is one of the most famous seaside locations in Italy. About 15 km of fine dolomitic sand.
A well as the attraction of the beach, people come to Jesolo as it is a convenient and cheaper way of visiting Venice (about an hour from here), by taking the vaporetto boat from Punta Sabbioni, 15 km from our hotel.
After breakfast, as well as spending the whole day at the beach, you can go along the main street (which starts about 2 km from us) and have a wander through the shops, or more adventurous guests can have a walk in the surrounding countryside or the lagoon. If the weather is a bit uncertain, you can take advantage and visit Venice.
In the evening the main street is transformed into a 10 km long pedestrian island, with many shops, pubs and restaurants and later on there are various nightclubs and bars that stay open until late.
The best times to visit, as well as the summer for bathers, are September-October and spring time for nature lovers and those wanting to visit Venice, which is quieter and not as stifling hot as in the summer.
The most convenient way to get here is by car. The public transport is good in the city but does not run at night (but there are taxis).
700 m from us there is a bus stop (with buses every 30 minutes, but not at night) for getting into the centre of Jesolo or to Punta Sabbioni, where the vaporetto leaves for Venice.
But you can also get around on bicycles, which we have available to use free of charge.
