Treviso

An enchanting city located in the Veneto plain, about 15 km south-west of the right bank of the Piave, Treviso still has a gracious and reserved presence where, alongside the more famous and popular places, minor roads, alleyways, canals and barbicans still maintain all the charm of a city rich in history. The three hills, corresponding to the cathedral, Piazza dei Signori and Piazza Sant’Andrea, on which the city was built, are worth visiting.  At the Palazzo Ca dei Carraresi in Treviso, world famous exhibitions are periodically held. The famous Treviso radicchio is to be tasted, accompanied by excellent local Prosecco wine.
