Alessandro Marzo Magno presents: "Venice - A history of sea and land"

Thanks to the "Jesolo libri 2023" event, meetings with authors will be held in these summer months.
Thursday 6 July from 21:00 Alessandro Marzo Magno will present his book "Venice - A history of sea and land" in Piazza Milano.
This book tells of the alpha and omega of the Venetian parable can be seen in Torcello: here a plaque from 639, the oldest written evidence of the existence of Venice; there the tourist-catching stalls of souvenirs made in China. In between, almost fourteen hundred years: some glorious and powerful, others very rich and splendid, others still declining and uncertain.
Admission is free.
In case of bad weather, the event is hosted at the Kursaal in Piazza Brescia.
